Summer rain

There I stood, water below me, water to the sides of me, and water falling from the sky above me.
I looked at the sky, it was so.. huge. It seemed to go forever, and the clouds were dark, but still light.
And you saw lightning flashing in the clouds every once in a while.

There I stood for 15 minutes, in the pouring rain, watching as the clouds began to break far on the horizon, hoping for clear weather for at least part of the day. And I did not even feel like an idiot standing there in the rain.

It was great. I stood there, observing, taking it in, loving it.
